What are Transitions Gen-S?
- Automatically adapting to changing light,Transitions®lenses darken when outdoors and return to clear when indoors, protecting your eyes from UV and filtering blue-violet light

- All colors have been optimized to be true to tone at all times, offering vibrant tints regardless of the light environment. While being fully clear indoors, and beautifully colored outdoors, Transitions®GEN S™provides endless possibilities of pairing to complement any look.

What to expect?
- You can expect your lens to appear clear indoors with UV blue light filtering protection. This is considered the eyeglasses part of look and lenses providing you with corrective vision.
- Once outdoors your lens will transition into your color of choice.
- Depending on the intensity of the UV rays your lens will response from light to dark providing 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Transitions lenses may have a slight indoor hue depending on the color for mirrored lens effect (e.g., Ruby, Amber, Sapphire), that's built into their design.
What are Transitions Xtractive ?
- Transitions XTR Active new generation lenses are recommended for wearers who are very light sensitive or frequently exposed to bright light.
- They deliver the best extra darkness and the best extra light protection from intense light indoors and outdoors, even in the car. Transitions XTRActive new generation filters up to 45% of blue-violet light indoors and up to 86% of blue-violet light outdoors.
- Transitions®XTRActive®new generation lenses specially designed to provide the best extra darkness & the best extra light protection.
What to expect?
- You can expect a clear lens indoors with a hint or protective tint of the color you choose with visual correction and blue light protection.
- Once outdoors your lens will darken to a much darker tint than Transitions Gen-S providing you 100% UVB and UV protection. The lenses becomes much darker in hot temperatures. Transition Xtractive lens darkens not only outdoors but also behind the windshield of a car provide the darkest tint in the car.
- You will experience up to 35% faster fadeback.
- Transitions XTRActive new generation filters up to 45% of blue-violet light indoors and up to 86% of blue-violet light outdoors.
